GB Taekwondo is pleased to announce that we are hosting the third edition of the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Manchester this year.
This year’s event is moving back to Taekwondo’s “home” venue – the Regional Arena on the Etihad Campus. This venue has played host to many great Taekwondo events in the past, including the Grand Prix back in 2015.

This world class event will feature the best Olympic Taekwondo athletes in the World including double Olympic Champion Jade Jones and double World Champion Bianca Walkden. It will be a fantastic sporting showcase as athletes strive for qualification to Tokyo in 2020.

The competition itself is held over 3 days, from 19th – 21st October 2018.

There are many exciting volunteering opportunities available before, during and after this ground-breaking event and we invite you to join our volunteer family!

Taekwondo experience is not necessary for any of the volunteer roles.

You will be made to feel very welcome by our event staff and will have the chance to see dynamic displays of Taekwondo from a number of past, current and future European, World & Olympic Champions.

City of Preston 10k
Alder Hey 10k.

We are always in need of Volunteer Marshall’s to help with the events and to cheer on competitors, whilst enabling them to compete in a safe environment.

A new opportunity has been added to MCRVIP by We Love MCR Charity, starts 08 July 2018

As the official charity of the UKFast We Love 10k we need volunteers to help out at the race on Sunday 9 July. This will involve manning the baggage tent and charity stall, handing out goody bags at the finish and cheering on the runners – there is also an opportunity to dress up as our mascot Bletchley Bee!
