6000 Manchester Volunteer Sport Bureau Hours

The Manchester VSB has now reached a staggering 6000 hours. A massive achievement in just over 12 months. With now over 175 providers and at present 250 live placement opportunities, the summer continues to look an exciting one.

Some placements to look forward to include, Skyride and 2011/12 Manchester City FC Champions League season.

SkyRide 2011

Sky Ride is a collaboration between British Cycling and Sky aimed at getting people from all ages, abilities and backgrounds on their bikes and riding through a traffic-free Manchester city

Turn out is expected to be high and we need volunteers to make sure the whole event runs smoothly

Volunteers will be kitted out in a Sky Ride t-shirt and get a packed lunch

Midsummer Madness

Midsummer Madness is an exciting event within Plant Hill Park will see a family fun day with all sorts of activities.

Volunteers will be required to help with marshalling and event and sports coaching support. No qualifications are needed, just enthusiasm to make the day an exciting one.
