On Saturday 1 September 2018,
Platt Fields Park will host a new festival, for the people of Manchester, by the people of Manchester. The Festival of Manchester (FOM) will embody all that’s great about being in Manchester and we’re recruiting now for volunteers to assist with the delivery of the event.
It is a celebration of all the communities that make our diverse and vibrant city such a great place to live, work and play. Platt Fields Park’s lakeside area will be full of performances and activities and performances that reflect Manchester’s diverse communities.
We anticipate a fantastic fiesta for people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds, with an audience in excess of 20,000 people.
