The Boots and Beats Project needs you!

Do you want to make a difference in your community through the power of music or sport? Become part of the Boots and Beats Leadership Team!

Volunteering here at Boots and Beats means that you will genuinely be a part of something special. We are a very unique project delivered by Greater Manchester Youth Network, funded by Cityzens Giving and supported by City in the Community (part of Manchester City Football Club). We have built the foundations of this project on the belief that ALL young people achieve their potential and shape their futures. As part of a dedicated and passionate team you will be helping to make a difference to the lives of young people in Greater Manchester by tackling unemployment head on through engaging young people in music and football activities, building confidence, developing skills and supporting them with opportunities.

Below are just a few of the reasons why we think you should join us.

Our values:
To enrich the lives of young people with creative, inspiring and motivational activities.

Working with a fantastic diverse team that are supportive of each other. Free uniform and merchandise so you are visibly a Boots and Beats volunteer. Something great to put on your CV.

Development meetings to support you in your role. Free tailored training opportunities to develop your skills. Residential or day trips to broaden your experiences.

All this and much more!
To be considered for the Leadership Team, please fill out our interest form on our website and one of our team will get in touch with you shortly.

A ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to have a go
Strong communication skills with an ability to speak to different groups of people from workers and managers to young people An ability to think about and put forward ideas
A team player – happy to work alongside others and work together A passion or interest in how projects develop and run (behind the scenes)
